Growing up on southern Vancouver Island, I have always been amazed by its beauty. My mother is an artist, and seeing the way she captured light and placed her subjects always had a huge impact on the way I view the world. Whether I am hiking the rugged west coast, skiing the mountain ranges, or exploring the surrounding sea, there never seems to be a shortage of picture perfect moments. Photography has allowed me to share these moments in a way that I hope can inspire and allow me to express my love for the beautiful place we live.

With my background in woodworking and passion to create, presenting my photographs is almost as important as taking them. Handcrafting frames from reclaimed wood, matched with the perfect colour and style of matt board, can turn a photograph into an art piece. I began this endeavour into the printing and framing world as I felt there was a need for more options of quality print shops in the Cowichan Valley. Achieving the highest quality prints possible is my goal, and has been a much bigger journey than I anticipated. Through countless hours of research and guidance from brilliant mentors, I hope to share my skills with other local photographers and art enthusiast to display the best art possible.
